It was August 1982 when my wife Margaret gave her life to the Lord, at that time we were called It was August 1982 when my wife Margaret gave her life to the Lord,at that time we were called drunkards, alcoholics, among other things, but something had happened when a friend asked Margaret to go to church. I have to be honest and say that church life was something that I had never thought of, but this friend I have mentioned began to send me books to read, and me thinking I'll show her sent the books back and said thanks "I've read them", but she never gave up, and sent me a tract to read the title," Get right with God, and do it now".

What a title, words that I couldn't get out of my mind, and I knew what I had to do, I asked the Pastor of the church to come and see me that was September 17th 1982 the day I gave my life over to Jesus, in the words of a song my wife has often sang, "He's my forever friend".  Below is something a friend wrote in a magazine,

Herbie served as a Deacon for 9 years, and a elder for 4 years before entering the Pastorate in 2003. He brings a thought provoking message that will teach, encourage, and challenge you to seek for more of God in your life.

Herbie and Margaret's desire is to see the church reaching full potential in God and that the power of God would flow again in the church. other things ,but something had happened when a friend asked Margaret to go to church.
